These cinemas also host classical films also. Cineplexes are at the main station and at the harbour and they offer mainstream Hollywood films which are dubbed in German. One can look out for a film in its original language by seeing the film listed as (OmU) which means original with German subtitles.

Live Music
Dr. Jazz and Jazzschmeide are favourites for the Jazz scene. For Folk music go to Buck Mulligan. Frontpage has live music, with the likes of the German Sinatra, giving it his best. At Em Putzke the Jazz bands will play for a few euros or namely in German slang, a Heiermann, which is 5mark coin.
The Phillips Halle hosts concerts for big names like Lou Reed. The Zakk hosts smaller concerts, mostly by local bands. The main tourist information centre can be found at the Hauptbahnhof (main station), and one can find a small booklet about what’s on in the city in most of the trendy bars and cafes.
